Alex Castro

Alex Castro is an actor, singer, model and politician.

He first ventured into the entertainment scene as a finalist in the singing reality search "Are You the Next Big Star?" in 2009.

He also transitioned into acting through the drama projects like Paraiso, Wildflower, and The Killer Bride.

Alex was also visible on the big screen with films such as Shake, Rattle and Roll XIV and The Bride and the Lover.

When his constituents clamored for him to formalize his community service to Bulakenyos, he served as Sangguniang Kabataan in Marilao from 2003 to 2007.

He later served as a municipal councilor for Marilao from 2007 to 2013.

At present, acting is taking a backseat to his socio-cultural responsibility as the Vice-Governor of Bulacan.

Alex has earned awards such as the 2024 Asia's Golden Icon Distinguished Icon in Public Service.
